Founded in 2002 by Dr. Jerry Cloninger, Raised Ministries is a compassionate response to the widespread hunger and spiritual needs we encountered globally. Our mission is to teach the Christian message while helping communities achieve food security through sustainable practices. We believe in not just giving a fish, but teaching how to fish. We help communities move away from reliance on aid towards sustainable food practices and food security, empowering them with the skills to grow their own food and be self-reliant.
Our work stretches from local communities in the Southeastern US to remote rural villages in countries like Nicaragua, Honduras, Ghana, and Nigeria. We're committed to sharing our process and helping communities achieve food security across the globe.
We don't just focus on one aspect of development. Our programs include raised bed gardening, raising chickens, goats, tilapia, bees, and rabbits, along with other sustainable practices tailored to the specific needs and customs of each community.
We strive to feed both bodies and souls. As we help communities with food needs, we also share the Gospel, acting in compassion, evangelism, disciple-making, and mercy in accordance with our Christian values.
Our initiatives don't just provide food, they empower communities with knowledge and resources. We hold educational training seminars, teach horticulture, and even instruct on well-drilling, providing communities with tools for self-sufficiency.
Join us in sowing seeds of hope. Get involved today and help us bring sustainable food solutions and the Gospel to communities around the world.
